Production and application:
•    Antimony, Type SU-2, is produced by refining crude antimony, which is obtained from electric smelting of antimony concentrates, in reverberating furnaces. Antimony is used in production of antimonial lead, antifriction alloys, alloys for sheaths of cables and general-purpose batteries.
•    Antimony, Types SU-0, SU-00, is produced by fire refining of cathode antimony. SU-0 is used in manufacturing of battery and type metal alloys, tin-lead based solder alloys and alloys used for sheaths of cables, enamels and ceramic colorants.
•    High-purity antimony is produced by electrolytic refining of SY-0 antimony in potassium-alkaline solutions, subsequent flushing, smelting and zone refining of the received cathode metal. It is used in semi-conductor industry as special-purpose solder alloys.


Packaging:
•    Each ingot of high-purity antimony SU 0000, SU000 is packed in a polyethylene bag and placed in a carton box with intermediate layers of plastic foam.
•    Antimony, Type SU0, SU2 in ingots of 19-20 kg is placed on wooden trays secured with metal band. The net weight of one package is 1 ton.

Transportation:
The product can be transported in any type if transport.

Storage:

antimony must be stored in enclosed premises to prevent losses of metal, its contamination and moisture penetration.
